Little Girls Make Up
Little Girls Make Up

Little girls make up is an excellent teaching tool. As parents, we are almost always finding ourselves teaching our children. Be it, how to treat others, how to behave in public, how to count, spell, read, or even how to groom ourselves. As such, we are always looking for good effective and efficient ways of teaching our children.

Fortunately, our children, early on in their lives are trying to be just like us. They are always trying to emulate us. I still recall the first time I found my son trying to shave his face when he was only two years old. Imagine a very blond little boy wearing nothing but a diaper standing on a stool leaning over the bathroom sink covered with shaving cream, nearly head to foot and sporting an ear to ear smile that absolutely shouted, "I'm just like dad!" I assure you don't wear diapers and don't use that much shaving cream. In retrospect, that was a great teaching moment. Although he used way too much shaving cream for my tastes.

Similar to this, little girls make up can be an extremely effective tool to teach our daughters about grooming themselves. We do this by harnessing our natural desire to teach and their inborn desire to emulate their mothers. The combination can be a powerful tool to teach our daughters how to "grow up" but not in too much of a hurry. That's why I'm suggesting pretend makeup instead of real makeup. How many mothers have had the experience of finding their daughters, much like my son and shaving cream, covered in makeup. Often times, with real makeup, the makeup is also covering the flooring, furniture, clothing, and not just the little girl. This by product usually results in our not seeing and using it as a teaching opportunity. So, look into little girls make up that is mess free as an alternative and get that teaching tool back you can't have too many of those.
