Today: Man believes in science: He does not believe in God

Science promises nearly miracles. How to know about our universe, how to know about ourselves. How to know about every object. But science limit itself to what it sees and what it can empirically calculate. Its domain is whatever physical and visible to the naked eye and can be subject measurement scientifically. Science does not ask about the why question , it does not venture into the nature or essence of things.

It tells us about the physics of a movement, the structure of a cell, the chemistry of fluids, the biology of organs, the genetics of DNA, the anatomy of our bodies, the astrophysics about stars and galaxies. Simply it deals what can be visible and measured experimentally. It discovers the laws that govern and regulate our world. It informs us about how to use mechanics in order to make use of it. It tells us what illnesses are there and how to treat these illnesses.

It informs us how to get to the moon, or make a major surgical operation on television. It tells us how the world evolutes and how man undergoes life and death. It touches on a superficial aspect of what is observed, visual to our five senses and our calculating machines. But science is limited only to the how.

It deals with what is sensible as the essential and rejects whatever cannot be seen, or beyond the physical aspect of things. It never deals with ultimate questions such as the nature or essence of things, the presence of things like the universe or life or man. It does not deal with finalities for finalities cannot be treated in the laboratory of the scientist.

Whatever can be subject to experience and can be proven empirically is only accepted by scientists. Whatever cannot be subjected to chemical or physical analysis is rejected by science. Science studies and examines phenomena but never asks whether there is a Maker of phenomena.

It deals with mathematical laws and rules regulating galaxies and stars and planets but never pose the most simple question that seems evident to every human being namely, whether there is a designer and architect that has created things. It never asks the question concerning whether the universe, the subject of its investigation, was created or not, whether it is eternal or not.

Such queries remain mysterious and enigmatic for science cannot catch hold of a creator or a maker. A creator, hence is dismissed by science for it cannot subject the creator to laboratory analysis, and chemical analysis nor to biological intersession not to mathematical calculations.

Mathematics, the perfect science, as well as physics, chemistry, biological chemistry and even astrophysics, cannot figure out whether a maker is needed to make the universe or a creator is needed to create things as they are. These sciences, exact and applied, do not even venture into the origin of our universe, the control of the universe, the evolution and dilution of the universe.

God remains on another sphere of comprehension. But the scientist bent on his subject matter does not even ask himself about his own subject matter that enables him to spend his time and his life discovering , analyzing, examining, studying and concluding. He does not even ask himself how come such a subject matter came about?

Nor does he wonder what is this thing that it involves his time and attention, dedicating himself to its research, where did it come from, how come it is in his laboratory, what makes it what it is and whether there is a creator-designer for it. He does not ask himself about the structure of his subject matter whether or not there is a power or intelligence that brought things together and ordained their existence?

Scientists are blind mechanical robots they do not see more than the end of their noses. Science reduces matter to atoms and hence every object being made of matter is made up of atoms. For matter to exist they have to be brought into existence. For things to be what they are, from an amoeba to stars and galaxies, they need to have their atoms put together, assembled together to be what they are.

Atoms must be created first and then put together in such a way that they form and shape an object or a thing. Then atoms have to remain together in their form and shape and color, Otherwise they disintegrate and perish. Then they must be submitted to exact rules and power to evolute in the way they do.

The cycle of life of everything must be submitted to the structure and function of atoms to be what they are and to move and behave in they way they do. Random, hazard and chance is certainly not responsible for the creation of such a perfect universe, order and harmony. These cannot bring atoms to form galaxies, stars and planets. They cannot form our solar system nor our Milky Way.

They cannot bring about life and the two million species of animal life into existence. They cannot be responsible for the rotation of the earth. They cannot be responsible for the exact distance of the earth fro the sun and other planets. For left alone, without control and adjustment by its gravitation to the such and the other solar planets the earth would either approach to the sun and burn out or wonder outside its orbit and freeze out having no such to keep it alive.

Forces controlling the earth orbit in its place in our solar system keeping life and things as they are need more than chaos and disorder, hazard, chance and nature to do it. This is where the mind wonders to find out what science has missed out, big issues, big questions, all lead to the necessity of an all powerful and all knowledgeable and all commanding creator.

Since man did not contribute to the existence of the universe, nor to the presence of a fly, then there ought to be something, that is not subject to scientific investigation, that is God.

The scientist and his field of study, his subject matter, all, along side planet earth where the scientist lives and dies, where he is given the mind to see ( not all for that) are created and not creator.

But the scientist with his boastful arrogance of what science can discover, for science only discovers what is and never is able to create from nothing one single thing, remain in his closed shell, self-imprisoned shell, lurking in his cave of shortcomings and limitations and does not venture to go out of his dark cave of ignorance to explore the reality of everything, the universe, the earth, life and death and what has made things as they are.

The scientist thinks he is above God and make of himself a god while he is poisoned in his cage of experimental knowledge; He is blind to the fact that all knowledge does not come from him but from the creator of science and its subject matter, the scientist and the universe where the scientist is nothing but an atom surviving on a head of pin to discover what he ought to discover and to realize the existence of an almighty powerful creator.

How blind science can be? How limited science can be? This leaves the door for metaphysics wide open. Every individual asks himself ultimate questions, where science is silent and ignorant.

Everyone has the right and responsibility to know and know everything about the real reality of his presence, his origin and finality: in short, an explanation for his own existence and a purpose for his life.

Science does not evenventure to deal with such questions. This, luckely, is the domain of a tool and source of knowledge open to evey individual person who has mind to think and heart to feel and eyes to seenamely: Metaphysics.
