Thus they should eat food that is rich in calcium. Food that could meet mothers calcium needs include milk, soy, yogurt, fish and shrimp. And it is believed that mother should drink a cup of milk both in the morning and evening.

Third, mothers are supposed to eat as many fruit and possible. It is well known that there are enough vitamins in the fruit. There are many different types of fruit you could choose such as apples, pears, oranges, bananas and so on. Citrus is rich in vitamin c, folic acid and lots of fiber, which can help pregnant mother maintain their strength, prevent fatigue caused by lack of water.

Fourth, it is believed that mother should eat as much lean meat as possible. That is because lean meat is rich in iron and is easy to be absorbed by our body. The iron element plays an irreplaceable role in the process of transport oxygen in human blood and the process of red blood cell synthesis. Thus pregnant women need adequate blood supply in pregnant period. And lean meant could meet this require.

Fifth, pregnant women should eat enough vegetables. In fact, the vegetables with deep color often contains high vitamin. For example, cabbage is a good source of calcium; broccoli is rich in calcium and folic acid; a large number of fiber and antioxidants to fight disease. What's more, green vegetables also help iron absorption.

All in all, mothers in a special period require special nutrients. Good nutrition from the start the first meal of the morning.
