-Things to help you make this decision will be the value of the goods that are inside. If you have a very valuable lawnmower, bicycles or power tools it may be best to invest in a metal shed as this will be more secure in relation to keeping your things safe.

-Windows are another thing to consider when browsing garden sheds, you may not want windows as it allows thieves to see inside, and once again if your shed is going to contain valuable items this may not be such a good idea. Metal sheds on the whole will not have any windows and wooden sheds in general will come with windows. On the other hand wooden sheds with big windows offer a much more stable greenhouse type building where it will act with the same properties as a greenhouse.

-Wooden garden sheds will generally look much nicer in your garden, so this is something to consider if aesthetics is important to you. However depending on the space you have it may be possible to disguise a metal shed behind some hurdle panels, or other kinds of fencing.
