Far More Personal Wedding Presents

Wedding presents can be either specific items that the couple may have requested via their wedding list or possibly they have asked for vouchers that you can give to the happy couple and which they can spend how ever they wish. Too many people are afraid to move away from the wedding list or to give something that the couple have not asked for but if you stop and think about it none of the above shows any originality, thought or imagination.

A lot of the time we have great difficulty when buying gifts, especially if the gift is for people we care about, we put ourselves under immense pressure to ensure the gift we have bought shows the person/people that we are giving it to that you have put a lot of thought and consideration into what you have bought for them and of course we hope they are going to like it...and if we are honest we are secretly hoping that it is a one of a kind gift that no one else has thought of!! wedding presents are no exception, in fact in all honesty they may be slightly harder to buy as you are looking for a singular gift that is meant for two people to share and enjoy!

On the other hand, if like almost everyone today time is a limiting factor for you, don't worry, you don't necessarily need to spend a lot of time choosing the gift, personalising or even engraving wedding presents will give the impression that you spent time choosing the gift, even if you didn't take that long. It will also show them that you were considerate enough to ensure that their special day is not easily forgotten in months or years to come.

If you know the couple well enough then you'll know what they like and what interests or hobbies they have, in which case you will have no problem at all in finding them the perfect wedding gift that will have specific memories of their special day. If you don't know them that well do not panic, you can always pick up something more generic for a wedding present which suits many people. A personalised picture frame will go down well with any happy couple, whether you know them well or not, it will give them something personal to remember their special day by and by getting it engraved will make them remember you as the person who gave it to them as well.

Alternatively a personalised bottle of champagne with engraved champagne flutes in a presentation gift box will also make a fantastic wedding present, something they can keep for another special occasion or enjoy on their wedding night...the choice is theirs.

One really important thing you have to do, especially if you are ordering your gift online or via mail order is to ensure you place the order in plenty of time, at least 2 3 weeks before the special occasion, earlier again if possible and in that way the company you have bought it from have time to make it to your exact specifications and should there be any unfortunate problems with your gift you will still have time to rectify them.

If you really know the couple well and you know what they enjoy then you are lucky enough to have a huge choice of wedding presents that can be personalised. An enchanting and exquisite wedding present would be giving the newlyweds a pair of stars "name a star for lovers" these are neighbouring stars that will be named after each of them. What better way to help them celebrate their special day...why not give then a gift that will last for all eternity. This will be a unique and imaginative gift that they will treasure forever and can pass on to future generations

Give them something that will ensure they never forget their special day, why not create a canvas photo montage of all their favourite pictures from their wedding day and night. A contemporary yet sophisticated gift that would make a dramatic impact and be an interesting talking point in the home of any newlyweds.

In closing get shopping for wedding presents as soon as your invite arrives, that way you will be prepared well in advance and it also means you won't be stuck doing last minute shopping rushing around like a lunatic and buying unwanted wedding presents!!
