subject: Sticking To The Power 90x Workout Throught The Festive Season [print this page]

Well the festive season is well and truelly upon us and there are many many

temptations out there for those of us who are following the power 90x nutrition plan

and of course the P90x work out.

Its easy to "take time off" your workout over this christmas period, which is fine

and a perfectly normal way to think. By all means indulge in the things us

normal people do over the holidays. It's fine! you have to treat yourself ok!

We work hard as nails (well I know I do!) on my Power 90x workout and nutrition plan

so it's only fair I treat myself once in a while. I mean once in a while too!

I am not saying spend a couple of days working yoru butt off with the Power 90x

then at the end of an evening go and order a large pizza with extra toppings and

3 types of cheese, 2 cokes and a pudding, no not at all.

What I am saying is the same old same old tried and tested methods of constraint

everything in moderation. If you have those times where yo just want to stuff your face

with burgers or finish off that large triple cheese mighty meaty then why not

give in to your temptations. Yes you heard me right, just give in...but in stages!

If you must satisfy your guilty pleasures, then do it in stages. I will explain further...

Buy your big pizza and take one slice out and put the rest straight in the freezer

right away, don't wait, stick it right in there soon as. This way you will be less likely

to tem[p another slice, or 2 more..... It will put the treat "out of bounds" but you

will still have your slice, your reward to enjoy as you want. Nice!

And tomorrow when you may (or may not) crave more junk food, then simply take a slice

out from the freezer, whack it in the microwave or the oven for a bit and...enjoy!

Grab a small cup of coke or something too and you will be fine. DOn't worry.

So listen fellow power 90x followers, 'tis the season to be jolly, so be jolly!

you can keep your power 90x nutrition plan up and your workouts in place and

still enjoy your festive treats. It's as much about training the mind as much

as training your body after all.
