Article 17: It's Day Three On My Diet

Alright. So yesterday went exceedingly well...if you skip the middle of the day. The middle of the day was horrible. I absolutely ate foods that were NOT on the Prescription HCG diet. I had some Chick-Fil-A and some Panda Express. My kids ordered kids' meals and being stuck in between them at the mall's food court...I broke! But today is a new day and I'm starting fresh. It's day 3.

This morning I got up and weighed myself and I went down. Even though I didn't stick to the program rules yesterday I am now down to 163 pounds. I feel like there should have been more of a punishment for my failure to follow the rules. Although I'm sure that I would have lost more weight if I hadn't cheated.

After I weighed myself I took my B-Total and gave myself my Prescription HCG injection. I whipped out my handy dandy Pocket Guide that came with my products and gave it a quick read through. Then I got online and looked up Dr. Simeons protocol. I decided to call the hcg weight loss cure guide a supplemental guide to Dr. Simeons HCG cure protocol ebook.

That is how I ended up spending all morning reading about HCG on the computer. I figure the more I know about it the more I will be able to stick to the rules.

There wasn't really anything new for me to read. The basics are the basics are the basics. I researched a lot prior to choosing to do the diet and I'm pretty thorough so I knew the general layout and many of the details that I re-discovered today. I was hoping the refresher course would help me avoid temptations like those I failed to overcome yesterday.

But today I'm nowhere near a Chick-Fil-A or a Panda Express so the temptation isn't anywhere near me. For lunch I was a very good girl and I made turkey chili. There are tons of fresh tomoatoes in it so it fulfilled both the protein and vegetable portions of my lunch menu. I had this amazing flavor of Melba Toast along with the chili: Spicy 3 Pepper. I really, really like them; not just for the diet, but because they're really good.

I saved an apple for a snack in the afternoon. I made grilled chicken for dinner. I seasoned it with Creole seasoning again. My kids had it, too and they loved it. We also had steamed asparagus. And then after dinner we all had some strawberries.

Since I stuck to the rules so well I patted myself on the back. Then I drank 3 glasses of water because I was really wanting to reach for a late night snack. Whenever I have to stay up late to work I always feel like I need a snack to go along with my late night typing. Wahoo! Today I was perfect according to the precription HCG protocol.
