subject: Diet, A Four Letter Word? [print this page]

Why is it that the word "diet" can be one of the foulest words in the English language? It conjures up visions of deprivation, starvation, and lack of taste. Like most swear words it's often made fun of like "I'm on the "See Food Diet", I see food I eat it." Simply put, your diet is just what you eat on a daily basis. So why does it fill a person with fear and loathing when their doctor tells them to go on a diet? Possibly because it means a restricted calorie diet. Adjusting your food intake to get proper nutrition without empty calories. Your diet can be your best friend or your worst enemy, it just depends on how you approach it. "You Are What You Eat" We've been hearing that all of our lives. Like most things you always hear you give it lip service and move on. But what exactly does it mean? If you eat beef are you a cow? Are you a pig if you eat pork? Does eating venison make you a deer? Your energy and vitality comes from the food (fuel) you eat. If you eat a lot of "junk food" you won't feel as healthy as you would from eating a balanced, nutritious meal. Our Food Sources Aren't As Good As They Were Twenty Years Ago Experts have been telling us for years that our farmlands are being depleted. Foods grown today don't have the level of nutrients as they once did. You have to eat more of the same fruits and vegetables to get the same nutritional benefits. The Food And Drug Administration has said all adults should supplement their diet with vitamins and minerals. Every day millions of people choke down handfuls of pill to get their essential vitamins and minerals. The problem is that by the time your digestive system breaks the pills down to a usable form it's almost too late to absorb them. They are already almost out of your system. Many companies are producing liquid vitamins as a more bio-available alternative. Unfortunately most of them are foul tasting reminiscent of the castor or cod liver oil we had to endure as children. The Answer Enter Vemma, the ultimate liquid supplement. Vemma is an acronym for Vitamins, Essential Minerals, Mangosteen and Aloe. A two ounce serving of Vemma gives you the nutrition equal to: 2.66 oranges to equal the amount of Vitamin C

1.78 cups of spinach to equal the amount of Vitamin A

Complete with a full ounce of Vemma with a kid-approved orange flavor. Verve! The Insanely Healthy Energy Drink With the increasing popularity of energy drinks has come the concern of side effects. Most energy drinks are loaded with sugar and caffeine. They work for a time and then you are more tired than before. Verve! answers that concern. Verve! has a full serving of Vemma with a kick of energy that will keep you going for hours without a debilitating crash at the end. Vemma THIRST At the time of this writing Vemma THIRST is two weeks away from launch. The details are being closely guarded. What I can tell you right now is that it's a sports recovery drink. If Vemma follows suit with it's other high quality products, and I'm sure they will, it will be a good tasting beverage with a full serving of Vemma. The Vemma Opportunity Along with providing for your nutritional needs Vemma also gives you the opportunity to create a stand alone residual income by helping others to meet their nutritional needs with one or more of Vemma's high quality products.
