subject: Sacramento California Mobile Phone Sales [print this page]

There certainly is a lot of advertising currently for smart phones. I'm not sure how much of this is seasonal marketing with the holidays just around the corner or if there is just a lot of new technology hitting the market place right now. Either way we would like to help you navigate through the smart phone maze and figure out what new cell phone and mobile service plan might be the best to purchase.

We have looked at a variety of models, everything excluding the iPhone. Nothing against the iPhone other than the limited service for the phone. We have been customers of AT&T for a very long time with a base model Motorola phone and no trouble to speak of but if you are adding more services and the features of a smart phone are not available or the call quality is less than expected, why spend the money to upgrade only to experience disappointment?

When you consider the equipment you are spending money on, and the monthly mobile phone bill you must also have to take into account the long term cost of using the phone and whether or not the services are available in your area.

Most of the new smart phones on the market right now have very similar features. Some have keyboards, some have touch screens. All of the cell phones appear to weigh in about 5 ounces + or - a little and the smart phones with keyboards are a little thicker. Some mobile phones have track ball for navigation and some phones are designed without the track ball.

Most of the phones include the connectivity feature to sync your web based email, contacts and calendars between internet based clients such as Outlook Express email or Gmail. The Android os smart phones provide additional features such as Maps, ( GPS Navigation ), voice activated search, auto inline text completion, voice dialing, video cameras for picture capture and streaming video. There are a few models available currently with duo camera option for video conferencing.

In addition to all these user friendly features packed into a high tech smart phone you get an owner's manual that might take you several hours to read through and for the average person perhaps a few more hours of frustration to figure out how to use their new phones. We saw a need to offer some assistance for local customers who would like some help and are offering customers in the Sacramento Calif. region an opportunity to learn how to use their new phones. If a meet up at a physical location is not convenient we also provide web based conferencing for those people with busy schedules.

Smart phone technology is very amazing and there is some learning involved to take full advantage of the feature packed new mobile smart phones. If you are a visual learner and prefer to meet with a customer service person for some web based conferencing tutorial instructions, stop by our web site and leave your name and phone number for call back or call one of our friendly customer support people. And if you are in the Sacramento California area you are welcome to come by the office if it is convenient.
