You're engagedYou're engaged. Congratulations. Unfortunately, getting the proposal is only half the battle. Now you have to make the trip down the aisle to the marriage alter. Planning a Panama City Beach wedding can take a lot of work but the effort is well worth it in the end when you have the wedding of your dreams. If you've decided that you would like to have your wedding on the beach, then you really have your work cut out for you. Beach weddings present a few additional challenges but nothing that can't be worked through so you can create a romantic setting for your marriage vows.

Panama City Beach weddings can be held in a number of places. Where you have your wedding will depend primarily on your budget and what your friends and family can afford. If you are working with a modest budget, then having your wedding a local beach will probably be your best option. Those with more money to work with and whose social network can afford to travel may want to look into destination weddings at places like Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. In either case, check to see if a wedding package is available that combines the major elements of your wedding. This can save you time and money.

One unique thing about Panama City weddings is that they can be formal or informal. This is a completely personal preference whether you want your guests, and groom, to dress up for the ceremony or if they can attend in casual wear. On the one hand, you want everyone to look nice especially for photos. On the other, your guests will be more comfortable and able to enjoy the festivities longer. Whichever you decide be sure to make a note on the invitations so your guests can plan accordingly.

Having your wedding on the beach provides you with the major advantage of having most of your decorating done for you. The sand, the water, and the sunset provide such a beautiful backdrop that you will probably need to keep everything else very simple. One thing that you may want to consider is renting flooring. Although walking down the aisle barefoot is a romantic notion, you want to make sure your guests, especially elderly and disabled guests, can get around easily. Flooring will also prevent the chairs from sinking into the sand causing uncomfortable seating. Planning beach weddings are a lot of work but the payoff is well worth it in the end.
