Best Beaches for the Wedding

A beach wedding is an exotic fantasy shared by many, but you need not hop on a plane and jet off to some faraway destination to experience it -- the united states has plenty of its own gorgeous beaches that will make your Oceanside nuptials a breeze. Listed here are four places to go.

1. Ogunquit, Maine

Ogunquit is a picture-perfect location for a wedding. Artists discovered the area over a century ago and helped to transform it into what it is today: a town that provides everything, from seaside relaxation to intimate museums, art galleries, and hikes in the mountain range of Maine. Hold your ceremony in the one-and-a-quarter-mile stretch of beach also known as Marginal Way.

2. Crane Beach, Massachusetts

Crane Beach is noted as one of the most picturesque swimming beaches in all of new England, making it a wonderful spot for your vows too. Located in Ipswich, it stretches over four miles of white sand, and serves as a natural barrier that protects the Essex River Estuary. It's a great spot for environment and animal lovers, because it is adjacent to the Crane Wildlife Refuge and offers an important habitat for many animals, plants, and fish.

3. Watch Hill, Rhode Island

Located between New york and Boston, Watch Hill can be found on a peninsula almost completely surrounded by ocean, affording Rhode Island's best sunset views. The town's name comes from its French and Revolutionary War days, when it served as a strategic lookout point. Centuries of history are evident at every turn, and maybe the most charming spot for photographs is the Flying Horses Carousel, touted as the oldest operating carousel in the country.

4. Cooper's Beach, New york

In 1640, English colonists moved to the area now known as Southampton, that makes it among the oldest settlements in New york. It's no secret that the beaches are gorgeous along with the location posh. But for every chic detail Southampton and its beaches provides, it offers a brief history and culture to match. Cooper's Beach is situated in Southampton Village, and, in addition to being one of the area's most well-known stretches of sand, is also dotted with historic mansions along its shores.
