Ever since I was young, I have always been fascinated by the television. Growing up, our family didn't own a TV set so I and my siblings had to go to our neighbor's house just to watch cartoons and other TV stuff. I guess you can say that this early dedication is what fueled my addiction to television shows.
Now that I am old enough to buy my own TV, I still can't watch my favorite shows whenever I have to go out of town to attend to my job which always takes me to the field. Thanks to sites like YouTube, I can stream parts of movies and trailers of some TV shows but not really enough to satisfy me.
That's when I saw an ad for SatelliteDirect.com. At first I was cautious, as everyone should be online, because I am not a noob when it comes to buying stuff online. I get pelted with so much spam that I have become jaded to offers like that. I mean, for only 50 bucks, I can access hundreds of channels as long as I have internet connection? That's just too good to be true.
So anyway, I just bookmarked the site and forgot about it until recently. The next time I visited their site, I had some spare bucks on PayPal. I thought that since I haven't cashed it yet, I would not really lose anything if the site turned out to be a scam. So I paid the one-time fee and I was relieved that they do deliver on their promise.
There's just one thing I'm ticked off about the site. They promise hundreds of channels, about half are really good, but not an option to record some of the shows. I mean I can't watch five channels at once so I have to sacrifice the other 4. If they have an option to record any channel at any given time, then they would be perfect for just about anyone.
