The way that these Google work from home offers operate is that they give people information on how to advertise with Google through their AdWords program. Again to advertise this through home job placement facades is completely misleading.
Anyone can apply to the AdWords program and it is completely free to join, you do not need to pay anyone for access to it. Also what they fail to mention is that this type of advertising, known as Pay Per Click costs money to do. So when they say you can get paid posting links on Google they aren't telling you the truth.
What they want you to do is advertise offers through your Google ads, the way that you make money is if someone purchases a product through your affiliate link and you earn a commission. Again it's pretty clear that this is not a real job but only a marketing opportunity. There is absolutely no guarantee of income and in fact there is a good chance that you will burn through your ad budget without making a single sale.
The bottom line is that while there are legitimate home job placement services you need to be very careful about who you trust online. And if you see an offer for a Google work from home opportunity understand that it is not a real job, and that Google Inc is definitely not endorsing or participating in these offers.
