A recent survey has revealed that some men actually cherish their cars more than they do their partners a statistic that some women thought all along.
One in ten male drivers admits to loving their car more than their wife or girlfriend, with four percent actually claiming they loved their vehicle more than their children, according to a survey polled by Turtlewax. A quarter or men said that their vehicle was their most treasured possession while over a half said that the first thing they would purchase with a money win would be their dream car, whether it be a Ferrari or a Lamborghini.
In total contrast, half as many women said they loved their car more than their partner, although a quarter said they would rescue their vehicle before their wardrobe of forced to make the decision.
The survey consisted of three thousand men and women across the country, and came back with some really interesting results. It's a shock to see that a third of men confessed banning their children from their vehicles as they are scared of the mess they will make, while the same amount admitted to hiding in their cars and listening to music or reading, and not actually going anywhere.
Andrew Freeman, European marketing director at turtlewax said that "Male drivers clearly have much more of a relationship with their motors than females but the extent of that relationship was something of a shock."
