How To Stick To Your Diet Plan For Weight Loss?

Sticking to fat loss program loyally is a continuous struggle and it held true to my mom as well. As I recognized, she gets tempted by those yummy brownies or her favorite chocolate cake. Right, if it's your favorite food, it can really be tempting.

I know it'll be hard but it'll be easy if your mind is focusing on attaining such a goal and that is to lose weight in just a matter of days. You can't go on just promising yourself a one bad meal or a few bad foods because they will not help you on your way to a lifestyle of healthy eating. Yes, we deserve to have a break from our regular routine and this may help in keeping our metabolism high but that's not the thing that we'd like to delve into now, which is keeping you into right track.

Now, speaking of right track, since you've side-tracked a bit. I have prepared my "Damage Control Tips", which will definitely get you back on track:

1. After the so-called "incident", eliminate the wheat and dairy intake for 2 or 3 days. Well, to defend myself, I really have nothing against those foods but you have to realize that are the 2 most inflammatory foods that cause bloating in most people. Unnoticeably, people tend to over eat these kinds of foods like ice-cream, shakes, cakes, donuts, bread and pasta. It's just a simple sacrifice that you have to do just to be back on track. If you're able to eliminate it from your plan for 2-3 days, you can always get back to it but again in moderation.

2. Water, water and lots of water! Water helps a lot especially in weight loss so do binge on water, water, and lots of water. Also, drip a few squeezes of fresh lemon in your water for a natural "detoxifying" effect. Right, fresh lemon will help you to cleanse your liver and I can assure you that a squeaky clean liver will assist in your weight loss efforts. No to colored drinks for now just water and a few lemons extract, okay?

3. Walk, walk and more walking. More movement by our body helps in burning some calories so if you've gain some, it'll be better to do even more moving. If you'd been into walking lately, just add an extra 15-20 minutes of walking for the next few days to get back on track. Walking is at its best especially if you have someone to walk with. So, invite your friends or special someone to do some walking. Or if there's no one else, enjoy the walking with a dog or just be alone enjoying the scenery.

Again, always bear in mind that what you're doing now is to establish a new way of healthy eating for life. Don't break what you started, be motivated enough to stick to the weight loss meal plan.
