Don't Let Others To Sabotage Your Weight Loss Efforts

Did it occur to you that sometimes there are people dear to us who are supportive of our health and fitness goals that inadvertently sabotage those? No or never?

Well, for my 60 year-old mom, it took time before she realized it. I guess this will make you realize as they usually guises by encouraging you to take just a piece of the cake, telling you that you live only once so enjoy the food while it's there or making you doubt on getting rid of those unhealthy food.

Right, you don't have to look anywhere else as these are the people we consider as loved ones but still "bad food" villains especially in our quest for losing weight. They are making the situation worse and my mom can attest to that. She's heard it all since she'd been eating healthy for quite sometime now and in all the years that she has been like this, she doesn't care to repeat some of the absurd statements that have been said to her by her own family and friends.

So, since she'd been there, she had prepared some of her ways to deal with these "bad food" villains. These are some effective ways to "get back" at our loving family and friends while still maintaining your coolness without compromising your goals for fitness and health.

1.) Bear in mind that there are people who will try to test you now that you are into a healthy eating plan. Remember as well that they can be jealous or just simply upset that they don't have what it takes, will power or commitment to do it themselves. So, be compassionate in dealing with these people. Do not attack them personally because hurting their feelings won't resolve the issue. Try to answer to them with statements that only characterize you and not them. You may always tell them that you feel excellent eating this way and say how it made such a big impact on your life, or tell them it's good for your health and you feel wonderful about it. Be creative enough in doing your rebuttals with them. Childish antics won't help positively so never resort into it.

2.) Next are those unavoidable situations like you are in someone else's home and offending them is the last thing you'd want to do especially in a party. Well, I'd been there and you'll definitely get an uneasy feeling but you should brush it off. Be cool and never think that it'll sabotage your good efforts in keeping up on the healthy meal plan because you never planned to be there in the first place especially if you have to do it for your family, friends and career. So, stay calm and enjoy as this might do you something good. Yes, it can be a great break from your usual routine to eat some of those unhealthy foods but never eat much. Just because I say it'll be good doesn't mean you'll forget the fitness and health goals. Again, have fun because one meal is NEVER enough of a reason to give up on your goals. Take one piece of the food being served to you and it is perfectly enough to not to offend anyone. Then, the next day you wake up move forward with your fit lifestyle eating healthy and delicious food. Yes, treat it like nothing ever happened. You should never resort into torturing yourself by thinking that you have failed. Don't beat yourself up! It's a NO-NO!

3.) Lastly, think that you can't please everyone in this world. There are people who'll be pessimist because they're born such. So, never talk to them about your healthy eating habit because no matter what you'll tell them, you won't be able to win their hearts on taking the same goals. It is hard to avoid these type of people especially if they are the closest to us. What you can do now is show them that you are enjoying every bit of your journey to healthy living and eating. Never fail to point out the wonderful side effect of it. Do not exhaust yourself anymore because they'll just be aware of all the wonderful benefits just by seeing the results and actions.

Again, don't think like these people and never allow anybody to tell you that you can't do something because you can especially in reaching the weight loss and health goals that you want. Just simply show them what you've got by rubbing to their faces the surprising results and that will be absolutely enough to keep most people from trying to bring you down.
