Cashmere Cardigans Lead The Fashion Stakes For 2010

The fashion world goes through many cycles and they say that everything moves in circles, we have had so many trends come and go over the years including knee length boots, tie dye colour schemes and a range of clothes in a selection of sizes from skin tight to excessively baggy. So it will be no surprise that the cashmere cardigan has come back to the forefront of the fashion scene once more.

If you step into any of the fashionable shops in any of the towns or cities around the UK then you will quickly be greeted by the sight of cashmere products, whether it is jumpers, scarf's or cardigans, the product has returned with a vengeance.

If truth be told Cashmere cardigans never really went out of fashion, they were always hanging around somewhere; the truth of the matter is that it was maybe just the generation that decided to wear them that changed. However in 2009 the Cashmere cardigan is back with a real bang and is set to feature majorly over the end of this year and the start of 2010.

Young ladies and men around the UK are taking the time to carefully plan their wardrobe for the coming winter, The heavy jackets and thick jumpers are set to be replaced by long sleeved round neck t-shirts that are then accessorised by the cashmere cardigan to provide that extra bit of style, class and elegance.

So what elements have contributed to the revival? Well the general public are very susceptible to being told what is and isn't in fashion. Some people will wear certain clothes even if they don't appear to suit them, just because it has been deemed to be in fashion.

Another reason for the success of the comeback is due to the climate, with winters getting colder and colder due to the current environmental issues and global warming, people are looking for more and more ways to keep warm when they head out. Cashmere wool is obtained from cashmere goats and it helps to provide the fibre material which can then be transformed into soft, light and warm products for sale in the shops on the high street.

The cashmere cardigan is the must have accessory to have this autumn to winter, it allows you to add some extra warmth to your regular clothing, whilst providing a dash of colour to the equation.
