For the body to effectively absorb and utilize this huge intake of proteins and carbohydrates, you would need to break your meals to six or seven small meals a day. This is where discipline plays a major role as this routine has to be followed faithfully for as long as you are on diet. As you eat small but well balanced meals many times, your body will stop storing fat because it will be expecting to be fed soon. Thus your metabolic rate will be kept at a high speed. It will also mean that you will not have cravings for junk foods because there will be no room to accommodate them. You will also take time to seriously consider what you are eating.

One of the first measures to take once you have made the commitment to change your overall appearance and gain that terrific beautiful body is to work out how many calories you use each day. Although this might be a complicated procedure it will help you to work out the food and exercises that you will need to achieve your goal effectively and as painlessly as possible. The most important point you have to bear in mind is that you need to increase your lean muscle mass which will result in the fat decreasing. Therefore you will need to have your fat measured after every few weeks to see if any progress is taking place.

Supplements should only be taken as a last measure. Should you need to use them then you will need to do so besides dieting and exercising. Always remember that a good rest and sound sleep restores the body and should not be ignored.
