There are weight loss diets to consider...and then there are weight loss diets that work to consider. Me, myself and I only want to have business with the latter: weight loss diets that work. All those other weight loss diets...are worthless. They're a total waste of time. And I don't know about you, but I hate wasting time.
But separating weight loss diets that work from weight loss diets that don't work is often difficult. At least...it's hard to make the distinction before it's too late. It's easy to tell when it's all over. But who wants to know at that point that they chose a diet that wasn't worth the money they paid for it or the time they put into it.
The trick would be finding out which diets work before we start them. That way we could avoid wasting time, money, and effort. It's not possible to know for sure without a doubt that sticking to any one program will result in weight loss for an individual. But there are some ways in which we can attempt to discover which diets are likely to provide results before we start them (and waste all our time trying to make a diet that doesn't work...work).
Hints and tips that Make Identifying Effective Diets Easier:
1. Look for testimonials. Make sure the testimonials that you find have names, locations and a feeling of truth to them. Do they all sound fairly unique? Or do they all have a similar feel and sound? Do they seem to portray real people with real problems?
2. Watch for average weight loss results numbers. The key word there is numbers. Make sure that you aren't duped by a company that says they offer tons of weight loss or a lot of weight loss or more weight loss than you've ever seen before in your life. You want to go with a company that actually states the facts of the matter with a quantifiable number. For example, HCG dieters lose an average of 1 to 2 pounds of weight loss per day.
3. Look for contact information available for the company. If they don't offer pertinent contact information you shouldn't recognize them as a trustworthy option for products or programs. Make sure that in addition to a website and email that there is a phone number.
4. The company you work with should provide plenty of helpful tips, advice and industry specific information that will make dieters feel more comfortable in their role as dieter. It should make the dieter have higher chances of success. It should make the dieter feel that all questions are answered regarding the diet and its potential results. And if you don't find the answer you are looking for then you should ask. If the company does not give you a valid answer then you should be forewarned.
5. Use your common sense. It can play a hefty role in pinpointing the weight loss diets that will work. Some diets are easily identified as best avoided if common sense is employed. For instance no food or water for a week. That's obviously not a good idea. For instance only water doused with chili powder for a week...that's another bad idea. And there are many, many more that can be found readily online and in retail outlets that you will immediately recognize as a "bad idea" if you use your common sense.
Watch for the little "tells" in the weight loss industry that can help differentiate between weight loss diets that work and weight loss diets that don't work. Don't take weight loss claims at face value. Consider them carefully. Some will be the truth, but others will be exaggerated claims. If you're careful you'll end up taking advantage of one of the weight loss diets that work; and that means weight loss!
