Registration is free. Once you become a member, you can start using the tools that are provided by Google to create your payment links.

You can create simple text links, or "Add to Cart" buttons. Google shopping will provide you with code snippets for the buttons that you have created. You may then cut and and paste the code into your website. Whenever someone clicks on a payment link, he will be able to make payment and check out using Google shopping. The benefit of using Google shopping is that the shopper doesn't have to fill in his credit card information. He is allowed to do so if he wishes. In other words, it's much more convenient for a buyer to make payment (and much more secure) using Google checkout.

You can always provide multiple payment options and let your customers choose the preferred payment method. Some may choose to pay in Paypal, or by Credit card directly. Providing multiple payment options can help boost sales.
