As for me, Valentines Day is just as sweet as it is disturbing. Why should I say like that? Well, it is sweet because I have a lovely girlfriend and that day is our day. But coming up with a wonderful Valentines Day gift is just a horrible task no less terrible than a nightmare.
Actually, I used to send her chocolate and she awarded me with a sweet kiss on the cheek, but when I send the same gift for the second time, she began calling me dumb head. I didnt know what I did wrong. So the next year, I tried red roses. But she seemed unmoved and the atmosphere wasnt that hot and sweet as I thought. And in the following Valentines Day, I tried other gifts, but she still turned a snubbed nose to me. So now you see why I am so disturbed by it.
But this year is different. The other day I heard one friend said this winter might be the coldest one in the record. All of a sudden, a though crept into my mind I cant left my girl quivering in the cold. Therefore, I decided to do something buying her a pair of snow boots. But it wasnt until the saleswoman told me that I got to know how popular snow boots are. Actually, it is a hot fashion item. Ironically, however, I bought it to keep my girlfriend from getting chilled. Cant that be great? I decided it would be the best of my valentines gift ideas.
Indeed, when I hold the snow boots in my hands, they arent as cumbersome as I thought. Actually, they are light in weight and cute in exterior. Just take a look at the snow boots: grayish exterior, stylish design and the white sheepskin into the boots. And as I learned from fashion magazines like Vogue, Cosmos and so on, snow boots are popular because girls no longer have to wear like a bear in chilly winter. My girlfriend will definitely like it. She is boastful of her thin and long legs and hates to have to wait until spring to put on her black stockings. But now, with my snow boots, she could wear them in this chilly winter.
I bet this Valentines Day, she will no longer call me a dumb head. Instead, I have got ready for sweet kisses from her.
