Say it with me, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." There's a reason that saying came to be. Sin City. Home to gambling. Home to all-night drinking. Home to waking up and thinking, "WTF happened last night?"
In an ideal world we would all be in relationships where trust was not an issue. Unfortunately, when temptation is thrown into the mix trust can be compromised. When your boyfriend comes to you saying that him and the boys are going to Vegas for a bachelor party the trust you felt so secure about starts to fizzle. "Will Vegas turn him into a cheater?" you wonder. "Will I be one of those girls whose boyfriend has some anonymous fling while in another zip code?" "Will I ever find out about it or will he never makethe confession, choosing to let it stay in Vegas?"
If your trust in your man ran so deep prior to the V word why are you doubting him now? It's probably because you know how women act when they congregate for a last-fling-before-the-ring. That's right. I've said it. Women can often be more wild than men. Shocker.
My belief is that if a man is a cheater he won't need Vegas to indulge in temptation- he'll do it right under your nose with the neighbor. Women, on the other hand, can be angels-turned-devils in Vegas. Get a few women together on a vacation and add some tequila shots into the mix? Well that just spells trouble. A woman doesn't have to be an innate cheater to cross over to the dark side in Vegas. The drinks are flowing, she's feeling sexy and all of a sudden her fantasy of having a one night stand arises. She's torn, not wanting to cheat on her boyfriend, but it's Vegas. Besides, Jenny didn't seem to care about her man back home when she left with that stud from California an hour ago.
I don't mean to generalize. Not all women are this way, but some are. And because we know about these tendencies, either from personal experience orfrom seeing friends behave this way,we're scared to let our boyfriends run off for a weekend in one of the most tempting cities in the world.
