Proactol and Weight Loss-- Facts You Need to Know

What is Proactol and how does it work?

Proactol is a weight loss pill a "patented fibre complex". Its basic ingredients are extracted from a nutritious cactus plant called "Opuntia ficus-indica". It consists of two types of fibresone is soluble and the other is non-soluble. Both these types help the users to lose weight and also improve their overall health and wellbeing.

Soluble fibre

The soluble fibres are a thick, viscoussticky component of Proactol. They bind with bile acids and generate a highly adhesive liquid, which is quite hard for the stomach to digest. It retards the digestive process as well as the absorption of glucose. It, therefore, stays longer than the usual food that we eat and creates a feeling of fullness in our stomach over a long period. We don't feel like eating anything. We do not gain more weight and also tend to lose that we already have.

Non-soluble fibre

The non-soluble part of the fibre complex isolates the fat molecules in the meals that we eat. It binds with them and creates a kind of fluid gel around them. The fat molecules wrapped in gel become too large in size to be easily absorbed in the small intestine. They, therefore, pass out through the stools. It has been clinically proven that Proactol can bind up to 28% of the fats in our diet.

This system implies that a substantial part of the fat you consume in your favourite foods is passed out of your stomach without causing it to bloat. Since the fats do not accumulate in the stomach, you do not gain weight and are also spared of the obesity generated complications.

These results were arrived at after extensive clinical trails lasting several days.

Imagine the kind of confidence you get from eating what you like while keeping both your life and weight under control! This shouldn't, however, give you a license to eat any amount of fatty foodsyou have to be moderate. It only means that you can manage your weight without having to deprive yourself of all that you like just because it has fats.

Remember, Proactol is not a substitute for disciplined eating and active lifestyle.

Who should not use Proactol?

While Proactol has no known side-effects, some people should not take it without the advice of their physicians. They include:

Children below the age of 12 and those whose BMI is below 18.5

Pregnant ladies and mothers who are breast feeding their children

People who take vitamins A and E should refrain from taking Proactol within two hours of taking them. This is because vitamins A and D are fat soluble.

People suffering from kidney ailments including stone should avoid taking Proactol because it contains traces of oxalic acid that is also found in several green vegetables.

Patients of diabetes may need to regulate their daily intake of anti-diabetes drugs to ward off hypoglycemic attacks. This is because Proactol reduces the craving for food by balancing the blood glucose level.

People getting medication for reducing the cholesterol.

How long Proactol takes to show the results

It all depends upon the individual's health and physical constitution. It normally takes around 120 days to visibly reduce your pounds around your waist line. In any case if you do not get the expected results after using Proactol for 120 days you can ask for full refund of your purchase amount. There could not be a fairer bargain.
