St. George is well known for its golf courses. These scenic golf courses are surrounded by the famous red rocks of St. George.

It has been said that St. George is home to the top ten best public golf courses in all of Utah. In the temperate climate, you can work on that swing almost all year round.

St. George has been home to outdoor Broadway shows for many years. The Tuacahn Amphitheater is an outdoor theater that is well-known for their performances.

The Tuacahn Amphitheater has its background set against the red rocks of St. George that are shaped into large formations and cliffs. In this atmosphere not only will you enjoy the play, but also enjoy the nature that will surround you as you watch.

Look up at the stars glittering above you and then glance down at the red rock that will no doubt be below and surrounding you.

Millions of years ago St. George was the home to dinosaurs. Fairly recently, there has been proof of dinosaurs found in St. George.

A farmer in the city found some strange prints on some rocks in a dried up rock bed on his property. These prints have been verified as belonging to dinosaurs that used to roam the land in the St. George area.

This land now belongs to the city of St. George so anyone can go and view the ancient imprints that were found a few decades ago. The land has since been turned into a museum, called the St. George Discovery Site.

The St. George Marathon is held every year in the area. The runners are able to race past red rock and some of the most scenic places in the world. This race is highly attended and recommended by many critics.

The economy of St. George has proven itself to be a great place to live. Currently, real estate is even more affordable due to the current national economic down. The lower cost of real estate means that almost anyone can purchase a home in St. George.

St. George has been one of the fastest growing cities in America. The city of Las Vegas being St. George's main real estate competition, St. George provides a fairly low risk and comfortable investment opportunity for those looking to buy real estate.

St. George is a very appealing place to buy real estate, especially as real estate prices have dropped. Keep in mind that now is the perfect time to buy. If you buy while prices are low you will have a higher profit margin when the prices rise.

St. George, even though it is considered a smaller town, is home to a large hospital and airport. In 2003, Intermountain Health Care opened a brand new $100 million dollar hospital with top-notch facilities.

SkyWest Airlines maintains its headquarters in St. George, as well. They have many flights coming in and out all the time. The airport enables fast access to St. George for visiting family and friends.

St. George is a great place to live, which is why the city is growing so fast.
