Medifast Success Stories From Regular, Every Day People (Who Aren't Celebrities)

If you've seen the dramatic medifast weight loss enjoyed by both Kristy Swanson (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and Genie Francis (Laura from General Hospital), you're probably both pretty impressed and intrigued. After all, both of these women lost nearly forty pounds each and Kristy Swanson is now a very svelte size 4 postpartum.

I know what you are thinking because I was thinking the very same thing. You're probably discounting the results somewhat because these women are celebrities and you're figuring they probably have a chief and / or a trainer who had a great deal to do with their success.

Before I started medifast, I researched just how these women did it. And yes, Genie Francis does have a trainer, but guess what? Genie is really no athlete, even with the help. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Genie disclosed that, with the urging of her trainer, she is now running a twelve minute mile. Now, I applaud these efforts. But, I really don't think most motivated people would need a trainer to eventually reach a twelve minute mile. I am no athlete either and I only recently started working out. I only power walk while my daughter rides her bike beside me. It's nothing strenuous. I think a twelve minute mile would not be too much of a stretch for me eventually, even without a celebrity trainer.

I've not seen any documentation on Kristy using a trainer. She often says she jogs with her son Max in a baby stroller. However, she looked pretty athletic on Skating With Celebrities, so you never know.

As far as having a chef, you really don't need one on medifast because you're mostly just assembling the prepackaged meals. If you can add water, use a blender, or open a package, those are really the only skills you need. Yes, you do have to make one "lean and green" meal per day, but that's as easy as putting lean meat on an indoor grill and opening up a bagged salad.

I am not denying that celebrities have many advantages. But, in terms of this diet, I believe that if you eat the foods and add a tiny bit of exercise, you will lose weight. I've losta lot of weightand I can assure you, I am nothing more than a regular 35 year old mother. I am living proof that any one can do this, celebrity or not.
