subject: Obtaining Clear Facial Skin [print this page] The goal of almost every young teenage girl is to become beautiful and attractive. At this age, they barely became aware of how they look and they are very conscious of the fact that it could severely affect their social life.
There are two main ways in which people seek to become more beautiful. One of the ways that people try to become more beautiful is through plastic surgery.
Celebrities most commonly choose this treatment because they can afford it and because it is more permanent than the other option. Plastic surgery is not an option available to most teenage girls however.
As a result, most teenage girls choose to carefully take care of their skin and apply makeup daily. This method of becoming more beautiful is temporary, but significantly cheaper most of the time.
Taking proper care of your skin is critical if you want makeup to be effective. Makeup often causes blemishes and acne to appear, so it is a constant battle to maintain clear skin while using makeup.
There are many steps to taking proper care of your skin. The first step that you should be aware of is washing your face every night before you go to bed.
This will remove all of the makeup that you wore during the day so your skin can go to bed clean. This will help your skin rejuvenate throughout the night.
Try to wash off your makeup an hour or two before ten at night. Some studies have shown that your skin heals the most during this time at night if it is clean.
It is also important to wear sunscreen every day, even during the winter. The sun can damage the skin tremendously.
It is best if you can wear a moisturizer that contains a sun block in it of SPF15 or higher. This way you will combine two of the steps into one.
Your skin is threatened by the sun no matter where you are at. Admittedly, direct rays from the sun are the worst, but you should always protect your skin.
The third thing you should make sure you do is avoid picking, poking, squeezing, and touching your face. All of these things apply oil and dirt to your skin.
The extra oil and dirt you put on your skin will result in more breakouts and acne. Eventually it will lead to more scarring as well which is something you definitely want to avoid.
The fourth thing you will want to make sure you do is stop thinking that if your skin feels tight, it is clean. Skin that is tight is generally not healthy, but it too dry.
Dry skin can lead to other skin problems or increased skin problems. Your cleaner should not make your skin feel tight or it is drying out your skin too much.
In general, the more lather that a product produces, the more it will dry your skin out. Try to find a cleaner that does not dry your skin out and combine it with a moisturizer.
If you seem to have extreme problems with acne, you probably do want to try an acne face wash. However, if you only get small breakouts, do not use an acne face wash as it will dry out the other areas on your face and cause problems.
With small break outs you simply want to use a spot treatment. Anything else will be too much for your mostly clear skin.
Another problem many people have with their skin is that it produces too much oil. This oil makes them look shiny in the middle of the day.
If you have this problem, make sure you avoid wiping your forehead with your hand. Instead, invest in blotting papers and use those to remove the oil from your face.
It is also a good idea to wash your face after you do your hair rather than in the shower. Many hair products clog up the pores on your face terribly and should be removed as soon as possible.
Over time, your application brushes are likely to get dirty. You do not want to apply old oil and dirt to your face with your make up because make up is bad enough.
Be sure to clean your application brushes at least once a week. A mild soap and cold water tend to be the most effective cleaning agents for makeup brushes.
As you follow these tips you may be able to achieve clear skin. With clear skin, you will be more beautiful.
