My friend Edmund but for short Ed is a great example, he was forever looking for ways to lose a large amount of weight, to say he tried a number of these fare fetched claims he invested in books (no doubt like yourself). There was something about a title that claimed the end result of months or years of hard work but by reading it he could have it in no time what so ever. This said he knew deep down that this was an unlikely answer like most of us who get phone calls informing us that we have just won some think too good to be true. Well if it's too good to be true that most likely is the case and it is far from the truth. However needless to say he went ahead he didn't just invested his money and time on one of these ideas but a number of them. He stopped reading before he got past the first couple of pages because the information seemed to be so ridiculous. He tried one diet in particular without naming and shaming it, it involved eating breakfast, lunch and dinner like most people's every day diets but because of the amount of food the diet permitted Ed to eat for each meal he was just as hungry after the mill as he was before but as far as he was concerned. He was losing weight apart from being hungry and having some serious self control, it was working like a charm at least that's what appears to be happening on the outside I don't need to explain why this is so unhealthy especially the young people who need the right food to keep them developing and keeping hormone leaves in balance.

Anyway a couple of weeks later he had lost about 3 stone I know a ridiculous amount of weight, now he had a choice to eat normal again or to carry on this kind of diet which would result in him turning into skin and bone and more serous health conditions such as anorexia. But he came to his senses and cooked his first adult sizes meal for what seemed to him a life time. As you could imagine he was shovelling it like a labourer with 10 more minutes until home time.

The thing that people don't realize is if you have not been eating enough food the body is less inclined to burn calories and build muscles, instead when the body gets its next meal it will do its upmost to store all of the fat it can to save as fat the next time there is a lack of food. This explains why people who go on diets can put so much weight back on in no time at all so post dieting for Ed turned out to be a disaster. In just over a week he had put on well over a stone and continued to gain weight until he was back were he started. Great, so all of that self control, all of that time and money, all of the complements he had received daily from his friends and family about the new him had been a waste. So in conclusion he went through this whole weight loss endeavour only to be put into a worse situation than he was in be for. That's Edmund's story and a story that you can mostly likely relate to whether this happened to you with just losing a couple of pounds and then putting it back. You can see why personally it makes me angry to see people following that information.

Once overweight myself I can more then sympathise with any one who is struggling with their weight. This is why this book will explain how to lose large amounts of weight and most importantly how to maintain your weight and also how to just stay at the weight you are now. Lastly this can help with how to tone your stomach without having to do a 100s of dismal sit ups a day. So lets begin!
