Captains of Crush Hand Grippers are a fitness product used to develop grip power. You hold it in one hand and squeeze the two handles hard, pushing against the resistance of the spring in between. This is used to train the wrist and forearm muscles.

If you're able to close, with either hand, one of the top 4 grippers, you are truly a powerful man. The resistance offered by the higher grippers is immense.

This is why I recommend starting out with one of the first 3 grippers and slowly build your strength up from there. It may not look challenging, but you may find yourself quite surprised with how hard this really is.

You should know, however, that using Captain of Crush grippers, or those of any other brand for that matter, is hardly enough to build big arm muscles. This is just one single exercise which, by itself, cannot change a lot about your body. However, as a supporting exercise, it may help you develop great arm strength and allow you to lift heavier weights. It should be used as part of a complete training program.
