Buying the used Volkswagen at Larry Miller Volkswagen

I had long been contemplating if I should get a brand new Volkswagen GTI or a used Volkswagen GTI. After careful consideration, I finally decided to get a second-hand one due to my budget constraint. Also, I figured if I could find a previous owner who had done good modifications on the vehicle, I could actually get my money's worth.

I called up many Volkswagen dealers like Avondale Volkswagen, Phoenix Volkswagen, Larry Miller Volkswagen, Glendale Volkswagen, Peoria Volkswagen, and Arizona Volkswagen.

Most of them dealt in used Volkswagen vehicles. I made an appointment with Larry Miller and headed there directly after work. A decent looking salesman in glasses greeted me. He reminded me of an ex-classmate and I felt a natural affinity towards him.

I told him about my desire to purchase a good quality, used Volkswagen GTI. He immediately pulled out a folder and escorted me to a vehicle parked outside the showroom.

It was a white color GTI and to be honest, it looked almost brand new.

"This is a two year old vehicle. The previous owner has done considerable modification to it," he explained.

"What modification?" I enquired.

"He has installed the Bluefin, pipercross panel filter, Volkswagen Racing front splitter and also the Forge twintercooler along with the Neuspeed cold air induction kit."

I was suitably impressed with the quality of the modification. I asked him if I could do a test drive and he readily agreed. I got into the vehicle and found that the previous owner had also installed a DVD player and reverse sensors. On top of that, the leather seats looked almost brand new.

I enquired about the price and was pleasantly surprised to find that the vehicle was almost three grand below market price. I stepped on the accelerator and drove the vehicle out of the car park. The suspension was impressive and the acceleration was very smooth. I was extremely impressed with the vehicle.

The salesman told me that there were another three interested parties and reminded me that if I was interested, I should make a deposit. I was pretty sure it was one of his seasoned sales tactics but I loved this vehicle too much not to believe him.

I stood at the car park and admired this tremendous piece of machinery. Somehow I had an intuition that this was going to be one of the best buys I have ever made in my life. I told the salesman that I wanted it and paid the deposit.

That was almost three months ago and I am pleased to say that my intuition has been proven right and that buying this white GTI was quite possibly the second best decision I have ever made in my life. The best decision was marrying my wife.
