They are also able to adjust the water content on site to produce the screeder's desired consistency.
Mixamate's weigh batched computer controlled Conqueror machine, pictured making a delivery of FlexiDry fast drying floor screed to a customer in London, gives a guaranteed consistent quality screed with or without the addition of polypropylene fibres. The inclusion of fibres helps provide a more cohesive mix whilst assisting with the control of cracking caused by intrinsic stresses and can be added on site by Mixamate's driver/operator.
When delivering the screed Mixamate are able to offer alternative methods to place the screed on site. Their trucks discharge conveyor can extend to 3.7m (12 feet ) through a discharge arc of 170 degrees from the rear of the vehicle into a wheelbarrow, screed pump or into a rubber track Mini Dumper which is carried onboard the truck. This Mini Dumper has the ability to hold a third of a cubic metre and is able to enter openings as low as 800mm for projects with restricted access.
