Everybody wants a super model body now! Everyone wants to drop weight now! And I mean right now! Isn't this really how we all think? Of course it is. But don't get pulled into this trap. A trap, I believe, has been created by advertisements, TV, Movies and the rest of the media. All of those, heroes and heroines that look great all the time. How can we even come close to competing with that? We can't. For one thing, there's a lot of tricks they use in the industry that make people damn near perfect. Don't get caught up in that. We have to buy their protein drinks, diet pills, pre-packaged meals, and help to make their bottom line. If you think about it for a minute, they need us to stay fat, don't they? If we were skinny and healthy then their income would be severely decreased wouldn't you say?

Let's not go there. Instead, let's get healthy. Let's lose weight in a manner that will not damage our bodies or make us lose and gain weight constantly. Let's slowly make better health decisions. It doesn't have to be right now but it can be done fast and healthy.

There are the changes we can make. Don't get sucked in. And if you have, like me and millions of others, don't get upset. You're not gullible or stupid. The advertisements and the weight loss industry prey on people like us. Our best way to get the upper hand is to step out of their trap. How, you ask?

Let's start with our choices of food. We can't keep eating the way that we have and expect to lose weight. That is just a reality. But we don't have to starve ourselves and we don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on pre-packaged food. We have to choose foods such as lean meats, fruits, vegetables and whole grains. We need to eat smaller meals but eat more frequently such as 5-6 times a day. And guess what? We can snack.

We can get created with spices. Salsa is awesome! We can put it on virtually anything and it will give you a special kick. Also, we can start chewing more and eating smaller bites. We can drink 8 glasses of water a day. We can get creative on exercise. We can exercise while we're watching TV or walking more or taking the stairs.
