The main theory in low carb diet is to let the body convert carbohydrate instead of sugar to energy. A limit of fifty to one hundred fifty grams of carbohydrate a day is recommended. Different low carb diets may include different restrictions and rule. But as long as the main point and theory is not forgotten, the diet should be successful in weight loss.

With facts mentioned above, incorporating or choosing low carb diet among all other diet techniques should also be considered. However, it still depends on you when it comes in choosing the method and technique you want. It will always be your choice.
