Glamour model Kendra Wilkinson and player Hank Baskett announced on June 11, 2009 that they were expecting a baby, and on December 11 on the same year, Wilkinson gave birth to Hank Baskett IV via caesarian section at 12:37 am in Carmel Indiana. Recently, Wilkinson's friends threw a baby shower held on September 9, 2009. Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner was said to be the grandfather of the coming baby.
Kendra Wilkinson admitted that she experienced post-partum blues after Hanks IV, stating in an interview that she never even cared to brush her hair, teeth, or took a shower. Moving to Indianapolis and her husband's playing event shortly after their baby's birth were some things to blame for her feeling isolated and lonely.
Baby milestones for moms are some of the most wonderful moments of all. After giving birth to the rapidly growing tot, the reality star says Hank IV already managed to start cruising around the family's new Philadelphia condo.
The star claims that Hank IV already starts to crawl, catch balance, and stumble, yet even if he's getting skinned knees and bumps getting around, his proud mother warmly cheering for him to get up, not cry and try again and again.
She admits presently that she took at leap of faith at being an almost single parent. While her husband played for the Viking in Minnesota, Wilkinson decided to move back to L.A. with 11-month-son Hank IV in tow. The former Girls Next Door star reflected on moving cross-country alone reminded her of her mother who single-handedly raised them, which the tough challenge of not having her husband around hurts, emphasizing that Hank's physical absence really feels like being a single parent for her now.
Having found a spot with the Vikings, Baskett, who signed for Philadelphia Eagles in March but was eliminated in September is said to be playing for the Vikings in Minnesota, and for the record, Kendra Wilkinson does not love the idea. Saying that Philadelphia was fine and she can relate to everybody, but is more at home at the West Coast where her family and friends are ruled out rumors that Wilkinson and hubby just broke up for good.
The couple still finds time to spend moments with each other despite the circumstances though. Kendra states that she's going back home for Thanksgiving, her baby's first birthday and the Yuletide in a warm, charming little hotel room with her family is all that matters to her.
