The Christmas Spectacular offers patrons an opportunity to bask in the glow of holiday cheer with the "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and to enjoy a magical sled ride to Santa's famous North Pole workshop. The lights, the colors, the singing and the dancing will surely leave you bursting with holiday spirit. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular can always be enjoyed in New York City, and this year spectators can also enjoy the production as it travels throughout the United States. Christmas may not be here yet, but it is never too early to start celebrating the holiday season with your pair of Radio City Christmas Spectacular tickets.

The Rockettes have long been performing this holiday stage show in the Big Apple, and the precision dance troupe is truly one of a kind. Since 1933 they have been presenting the "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and "The Living Nativity." The earliest Christmas show was produced and choreographed by Leonidoff and Russell Markert.

The show begins with the Rockettes onstage performing "Ring out Those Bells." Santa Claus then appears onstage and the performers lift him into air. Audience members are treated to an imaginative 3D movie where they follow Santa as he flies from the North Pole to New York City in his magical sleigh. Patrons are treated to incredible views of the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building as Santa makes his decent into the Radio City Music Hall.

After his arrival he introduces the famous Rockettes, who perform a rock version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas." There is also a reference to The Nutcracker that follows, which features a little girl opening her presents on Christmas Day and dancing around with the life-size toys that jump out of the wrapped boxes. "The Parade of the Wooden Soldier" is a famous classic number of the production, with the Rockettes sporting the very same costumes that were originally designed in 1933.

The Rockettes then take a ride around the city in a double-decker bus singing "New York at Christmas." When Santa meets two young boys who are skeptical of his existence, he whisks them away in a snowy blizzard to the North Pole. Turning into true believers, the boys return to Times Square, where the Rockettes perform "Ragdolls."

At the close of the show the Rockettes perform the tune "Let Christmas Shine" followed by one of the production's original scenes, "The Living Nativity." For this specific number, a recreation of the birth of Christ is enacted onstage with live camels and sheep. The production officially closes with the song "Joy to the World."

This season, no matter where in the country you are, make sure to get tickets to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. This year, the show kicked off on Nov. 13 and is scheduled to run through the end of December. Don't be a scrooge this holiday season; invite your friends and family members and celebrate Christmas with the Rockettes!
