Careless Driver

English singer George Michael has been arrested after crashing his car into a branch of snappy snaps in the early hours of the morning. The singer was not tested for alcohol, but was thought to have been tested for drunks at the local police station, after his arrest. He has been nailed until august, when he will appear in court for the accident. The incident is the seventh time that the singer has been at the front of a police investigation for dangerous driving, a year ago, after just returning to the wheel following another incident; he was arrested for driving under the influence when he collided with a lorry in Berkshire.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed: 'Police were called at approximately 3.30am on Sunday to reports of a vehicle in collision with a building.

'Officers attended and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive.

'He was taken to a north London police station and later bailed to return on August 13 pending inquiries.'

Drug driving has hit the news recently, as there is currently no legal limit for driving under the influence, as there is with alcohol. Road safety lobbyers are calling for this to change, so that driving under the influence of drugs is as punishable as driving under the influence of alcohol, as both are equally as dangerous to other road users and pedestrians.

If you are caught driving under the influence, you will lose your licence, and find it much harder to get Cheap Car Insurance in the future.
