Story Line This grand film has a very simple storyline. A scientist (Dr.Vaseegaran casted by Superstar Rajnikanth) creates a ROBOT (Endhiran also casted by Superstar Rajnikanth) to help the society but somehow gets disapproved by the ultimate scientific forum. Then Dr.Vasi adds emotions to the Endhiran and then he sets out into the world and gains a lot of unexpected and miraculous experiences. Finally the truth wins over the evil and all settles from good to great like a traditional Indian story
Director Shankar has to be well appreciated for his great innovation to mix up Indian masala and sentiments to a science fiction. A lot of hifi scenes has added up to the overall grandness and hats off to the producer's cooperation. Director Shankar may be the only first director to prove his mettle in directing a Scientific Fiction to international standards for the first time in India. I am proud once again he is Tamizhan.

There are some about the Very high budget (as high as 200 Crores), some minor mistakes which imitates the spoof masala of Hollywood ones, Crap comedy scenes, a daring marketing initiative taken by Sun Pictures and use and misuse of the combo brand image of Director Shankar + Superstar Rajnikant + A.R.Rehman + Kalanidhi Maran.
Things to admire are the stunt scenes coordinated by Yuen Woo ping, the man behind eat success like Matrix, Hidden Dragon and the Forbidden kingdom and an excellent support of A.R.Rehman through tremendous songs and background music.
The Josh created by Ash, particularly in Songs and Endhiran all over the World were additional attraction which made this film a great attraction. It's worth watching this movie along with your family in a very good theatre nearby as Shankar has made use of the special effects to the maximum.
