Basal Body Temperature Charting, A Cheap Way To Help You Get Pregnant

If you are having trouble getting pregnant it could be for any number of reasons, before you begin to fear the worst and start seeing doctors and spending money on expensive treatments why not try Basal Body Temperature charting.

Basal Charting can help you work out when in your cycle you are ovulating, it is a common mistake to assume that you will be ovulating on day 14 of your cycle, it can often be earlier or later.

Having sex around the time you ovulate can massively increase your chances of becoming pregnant, but it is not always easy to find out when you are ovulating.

During your cycle your Basal (resting body) Temperature fluctuates, being slightly lower before you ovulate and slightly higher afterwards. These fluctuations are very small, and you need a very accurate thermometer to detect them.

Special Basal Digital Thermometers are cheap, costing only a few dollars, but by using one to chart your temperature over the course of a month you can build up a picture of your cycle and work out when you are about to ovulate.

It is really very easy to start Basal Charting, all you need is a cheap Basal Digital Thermometer, and a chart template. You must be consistent in the way and time at which you take your readings for the chart to be accurate.

You need to take your temperature right after you wake in the morning, even before you get up and out of bed, and you must take it at the same time every morning, a slight variation of even an hour or two can throw the readings off.

if you follow the simple guidelines and build you chart carefully, you will be able to see the peaks in temperature showing when you have ovulated, build a chart over a few months and you should soon be able to predict when you ovulate so you can increase your chances of becoming pregnant!
