subject: The Basics And Guide For Women Facial Hair Removal [print this page]

Facial hair is something that solely belongs to males. However, certain women have slight facial hair growth which they will need to remove. Leaving the hair on is not really the best option as it does not allow for the woman to look her best. Bleaching the hair was a practice which became extinct while back. This method was justified because women were reluctant to remove the hair since it would grow back quickly.

Today, however, there are modern methods of removing facial hair which prevent it from growing quickly and in certain cases prevent it from growing altogether.

The most obvious method for women facial hair removal is to shave the hair off. This method, however, can cause the hair to grow back very fast. Additionally the hair may grow back than thicker than it originally did. Shaving is only a temporary solution and is not recommended in the long run.

Another common method of women facial hair removal is to use tweezers to tweeze the hair out. This technique removes the hair completely along with the root. As a result, the hair takes a longer time to grow back and when it eventually does grow back, it grows in the same density as the first growth. This method of women facial hair removal is, therefore, more suitable than shaving.

Using chemicals for women facial hair removal is also a popular technique that can be done at home. These chemicals work in a way that disturbs the growth of the facial hair. This can prevent hair from growing again or it may simply slow it down. The results of using these creams cannot be guaranteed. Waxing is the best home technique for women facial hair removal. In this method, cold or hot wax is applied on to the skin where the hair is and allowed to dry. Once dry, the hardened wax is pulled off taking the facial hair with it. This method is more long lasting.

The most effective methods of women facial hair removal cannot be done at home. They are also more expensive than any of the home treatments. Electrolysis is a method of removing the facial hair and keeping it away. How it works is that it sends an electrical current which destroys the root of the hair, so hair can no longer grow.

Another similar method of women facial hair removal is laser hair removal. Laser removal is expensive compared to the other methods of hair removal. Moreover, the success rates are not as good as electrolysis.
