subject: Make A Good First Impression On Your First Date By Not Starving Yourself To Keep Off The Pounds [print this page]

We all know how tempting it is to indulge in all the mouth-watering fat-filled foods listed in the menu of your favorite restaurant. While this may be enjoyable, it's never fun when your scale is reading an extra ten pounds the next day. It can be difficult to keep up with your weight loss efforts and still enjoy yourself while dining out. This is because you will also feel embarrassed that your dining partner thinks of you as being a picky eater. Moreover, the last thing you want to do on a first date is give the impression that all you think about is what to eat and what not to eat.

The first thing to remember when eating out on your first date is not to starve yourself. Of course this doesn't mean that you get to lose control and order just about everything on the menu. You should know that instead of helping with your weight loss efforts, starving yourself will make it harder for you to control your appetite. As a result, you may end up doing exactly what you shouldn't be doing in the first place - ordering items on the menu which will render all your weight loss efforts obsolete.

Remember that in order to make a good first impression, you should feel relaxed and not appear anxious and stressed out. I mean, isn't the notion of a first date already stressing enough as it is? Take a deep breath and relax. This way you will reduce the chances of overeating due to unnecessary anxiety.
