subject: Is Topical Fat Loss The Right Choice For You? [print this page]

Thanks to a large percentage of health-conscious, image conscious people out there -- looking for that overnight magical cure which is going to make them as streamlined as a panther, -- there are plenty of places on the Internet advocating the use of topical lotions, cropping up almost overnight.

These rub in creams and lotions are "supposedly" capable of producing a topical fat loss. So here one comes with the million dollar question-is topical fat loss the right choice for you?

To tell you very frankly, topical fat loss is something which one needs to take with a pinch of salt. Once upon an ancient time, there was a massage procedure, which used to help break up the cellulite cells on the thighs, and the stomach.

This procedure is still being utilized by massagers in the Orient, and they use coconut oil as a massage base. However, all those advertisements on the Internet telling you all about weight loss by applying a magical weight-loss lotion and cream can be considered to be snake oil.

Taking into view the fact that it has scientifically been proven that any sort of weight loss due to a diet is superficial and temporary, how do you expect cellulite to melt away, with creams and lotions?

Many people have the impression that they just need to rub in a gel, eat what they want, not do any exercise, and the fat is going to melt away. Sorry, never gonna happen. And that is because there is absolutely nothing in the world that can melt away fat, except the natural process of burning away calories through continuous exercise. There is no topical cream that can absorb your calories.

There is no magic product that can prevent the carbohydrates and fats from being absorbed by your system. Some scientists decided to give a popular cream the benefit of doubt. They hypothesized that it was possible for some ingredients in a popular cream to "absorb" calories in order to reduce about 1 pound of weight in one week! Now, are you going to spend your hard-earned money trying to believe that topical fat loss can be done in a systematic and methodical way through applying a cellulite burning lotion?

Remember that the ingredients in the creams are not made up of steroids, growth hormones, or any product which is going to add any sort of muscle mass to the tissue, through absorption. One is talking about a product, which supposedly absorbs the fat and the calories, and blocks the biophysiological absorption of fat by your body.

That is categorically and naturally impossible! So for all those people thinking that topical fat loss is the right choice for them, the answer is a resounding -- no!
