12 Tips To Make Your Blog Distinctive And Remarkable

A lot of blogs are popping in the World Wide Web, competing to gain and invite readers, the prime concern is to create a blog that is distinctive from others and remarkable to the eyes of the readers. But most new bloggers don't realize the difference between a professional and an amateur blog. Choosing a good design depends on you, you must have noticed beautiful and attractive layout. But, how will you do that? Here are some tips on making your blog exceptional.

1. Keep it simple

In making a blog, multiple options can be of great help, from colors, fancy fonts to nodes. So it's really enticing to put such designs on your blog that could result to cluttered blog, that is so complicated and visually disturbing for the eyes. Likewise, review your layout for latest designs so that your blog will not be outdated.

2. Change your template icons to a personalize one

The first thing to be edited in your blog is your banner, because it is the first thing that the readers will see, choose a design that satisfies your thoughts and make sure that it somehow relates to your topic. Most blogs come out-of-the-box with icons in your sidebar. These are common designs so why not make your own designed templates. Again designing a template should connect to your topic.

3. Use colors that is cool on the eyes

Be sensible in choosing your color scheme; don't put too much colors specially bright colors because there's a possibility that it can turn off readers and cause them to forget your blog.

4. Use appropriate theme

Avoid using preinstalled themes in your blogs. Look for a unique and better theme or at least change the header. So that your blog will not look like a duplicate of thousands of blogs, be remarkable so that the readers will remember your blog.

5. Make sure your blog title and Logo is clickable

Make your blog title clickable so that it will link your readers to your blog home page. Again, this is important for SEO purposes as well as from a user's perspective. Be sure also to include ALT and TITLE attributes for your home page. Also, make a logo that will give your banner a proficient look Instead of just words for your blog title, use an image that is eye catching and elegant.

6. Avoid using dark and eye irritating background

The theme you use matters, so I recommend to use a dark text with a light background but not a light text in a dark background because it is hard to read and eye irritating. If you think an image is good for a background I suggest that you make sure your content is readable. You may put the image at the side and then a light background.

7. Don't put too much Ads

A blog containing too much ads, widgets, games, awards, promos and other more makes your blog chaotic and may slows down everything. Prevent using another widget, many widgets serve no purpose and jus get in the way. If you really want to put a widget, limit yourself, don't just add everything you see or else it will make your blog messy.

8. Make a blog that shows a clear topic

To make your blog clear to the readers and easy to comprehend, make sure your banner have a title and a subtitle that makes certainty of who you are and what your topic is.

9. Prioritize your content than anybody else

Like what I've said don't put too much ads and widgets so that it will not draw away attention from your content. Consider your readers, make it easy to find the content of your post, don't tire them looking.

10. Make the text readable

In writing your post, use a considerable font size, don't make your readers use a magnifying glass. Your content is important it is the primary core of a blog, so don't use fancy small text. You will just make them click away from your blog, faster more than you expect.

11. Use colors to differentiate the navigation and content

Blending your layout is not a good idea, it can cause confusion to your readers- some of the lines within each post actually run into the navigation links. Several blogs have one or two sidebars alongside the content, sometimes with a horizontal navigation bar across the top as well. It helps to use a subtle background color for your navigation areas so it's clear where the content starts and ends.

12. Personalize your blog

Personalize your blog through putting subtitles, logo, a photo of you, there are a few ways to give your site its own identity. Modifying an existing theme of your choice can established and help your site.
