For those of you that didnt know activity holidays is a type of tourism, which could involve exploring, or travelling around exotic or remote or even hostile areas. I think the whole point of an adventure holiday is to expect the unexpected. Adventure holidays is becoming more and more popular in britain today. It could be that you are after a physical, cultural exchange or just simply be at one with nature. Adventure holidays brings the excitement out in some people, the thrill to try new things which are challenging and risky which allows these people to come out of there comfort zones. Some of these activities include, mountain biking, bungee jumping, rafting, zip-lining, rock climbing or mountaineering. Activity holidays will not only challenge you but will enable you to mould as a person.

If you don't fancy an activity holiday then there is always the appealing option of staying in an hotel although can be very expensive, you will be pampered and looked after with some hotels offering that extra special treat in providing guests with spas, jacuzzis, gyms and holistic therapy. Imagine how much it is to go to the gym for the day, or to get a one off luxurious massage, therefore getting a relaxing holiday which will leave you feeling refreshed ready for the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The location of a bed and breakfast is normally situated around many attractions, so therefore throughout the day you can explore and visit museums, beaches and other attractions and by night have a clean and tidy room on return. Then wake up and do it all over again. Fantastic!

Self catering holidays have many benefits in which you may be able to taste great local produce, eat in fantastic restaurants, most are supplied with a fully fitted kitchen and kitchen utensils if you ever fancied a midnight snack. A majority of self catering accommodation is pet friendly enabling you to bring a little bit of home with you and experience your holiday with your best furry friend, exploring the scenery and walk routes around the accommodation devouring the wildlife and nature.
