First I want to acknowledge the fact that I think it's wonderful that you are wanting to do something about your weight. Their are lots of people out their that "want" to lose weight, but surprisingly few see it through to the end. Losing weight is not easy, let's face it. However the process can be made simple once you know some weight loss secrets. I want to show you what it was that I did, and how I did it. I'm going to give you some very simple instructions on what to do. The first thing you have to do is get rid of this notion that losing weight is some unattainable goal. And yes I know you do think that, because you would not be here if you did not.
How do you lose weight walking
Now I want you today, and not tomorrow to go for a walk. Go for a ten minute walk, or 30 minute walk, but go for a walk for some length of time today. Walking is a very low impact way of burning calories. Starting out in this most simplest way has a far greater affect than just burning calories. While we are trying to burn calories, we are also working on your thoughts at the same time. Did your mother ever tell you that "what you think, you are"? My mother did, and it is the truth.
What you are thinking in your thoughts, you produce in your "outer reality". The thoughts you hold today, shape your tomorrow. Are you listening? The thoughts you hold today, will shape your tomorrow. That is why it is so important to change your thoughts, by taking "action today!" The only way to change your thinking is through action, and unless your thoughts on losing weight change, then you will lose no weight at all.
Keep walking and Lose Weight
I want you to walk every other day. Basically three times a week. I myself would walk on Sunday also, but it's OK if you decide not to. You should walk at a pace that will have you getting "comfortable tired" in about thirty minutes every time you walk. Do not feel rushed, take the time to do this, and do it right by committing to it every other day. You want to work up to being able to walk four miles in one hour, and that is your first "goal."
Review
1. Change your thoughts, by changing your action. You can not have sustained success, unless you change your thoughts. And again the only way to do that, is by taking action.
2. Start walking today! Starting is the hardest part, but again you have to understand that the "problem" is only in your thoughts. You really do not have a problem, you just have to start walking.
3. Work up to walking 4 miles in under an hour every other day, and on Sunday if you choose.
Final Thoughts
This is a plan of attack. It is a starting point to launch off to that ideal weight you desire. This is a very simple 3 part plan to start with. If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. Be kind to yourself, and give yourself the chance to start. Do not let worry weigh you down, just begin. Once your walking 4 miles in an hour ever day, go here to continue your journey.
