2010 Action In Sandton

The first African nation to host one of the world's most popular sporting events. It's hard to believe that in less than 2 months 2010 will arrive and all the hard work and preparations for this event will come together.

The successful Confederations Cup hosted earlier in the year, showed the 2010 host's readiness. South Africa will be able to boast with five brand stadiums in Port Elizabeth's Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Durban, Polokwane, Nelspruit and the Green Point stadium in Cape Town.

Tickets have been grabbed up with great enthusiasm by fans with over 630,000 tickets already sold to people in 188 countries. To accommodate all the tourists from across the world a total of 55,000 rooms will be needed.

There has been an increase in government investment in transport with upgrades to various roads, a light rail network and airports across the country.

The side dishes include egg rolls, sambals, satay, fish, fruit, vegetables, pickles, and nuts. An Indonesian a la carte menu is also available.
