All Inclusive Holidays in Mexico and Caribbean

Mexico and Caribbean holidays are popular for a number of reasons. They known for beautiful hotels that are usually located on white, sandy beaches and have an abundance of good food, service and activities. All of this is purchased at a pre-determined price, so a person knows just what the whole experience will cost.

Two of the most popular destinations for this type of holiday are Mexico and the Caribbean. Both locations are wonderful choices, but there are some differences that set them apart.

Holidays in Mexico

Mexico is famous for its all inclusive, budget-friendly destinations. Some favorite places there include: Cancun, the Mayan Riviera, Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel, Acapulco, Huatulco, Los Cabos, Ixtapa and several others. Some are on the east coast, while others are on the west. This can make for shorter cheap flights and less expensive travel costs. The quality of the hotels, meals and amenities ranges from 3-star to 5-star.

There is also a wide range in prices, so it is important to read reviews and seek out either recommendations or warnings before putting down a deposit. Some people find a particular chain that they like, such as Sandals All Inclusive Vacation Resorts or Palace Resorts and then always choose one of that company's resorts.

Holidays in the Caribbean

There is a staggeringly large number of all inclusive holiday resorts available on Caribbean islands. The islands from which you can choose include: Antigua, St. Lucia, the Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. John, Barbados, Aruba, Curacao and many more.

All of these islands have beautiful beaches, gentle breezes and beautiful resorts that will cater to your needs. Often, there are ferries that go to nearby islands, so you can do a lot of sightseeing beyond the island on which you are staying. Once again, there are some resorts which are nicer and more highly rated. A few places are rated as low as 2-star.

General Advice

Some resorts cater to families and would not be a good choice for the couple who wants to spend a quiet, romantic vacation week. Some resorts do not accept children and are intended for adults only. There are many considerations in addition to quality, so plan to do research well in advance of your holiday. Be sure that there are plenty of activities at the resort and in the surrounding area that will appeal to each person in your group holidays. Mexico and Caribbean holidays are a great value way to explore some incredible destinations.
