Instead of aiming to lose 10 pounds off your current weight in a very short period of time, why not aim for 5 pounds at the least for starters for a more realistic timeframe. Losing weight should not mean the results should come instantly but rather gradually. The success of achieving your initial weight loss goal can make you strive forward for more or set as an inspiration.
Be the boss of your own self, stop listening or hanging around people who would not seem helpful in achieving your wellness goals. Remember that your goals are a noble one indeed and others might entice you to go otherwise or stick to their pattern of sedentary lifestyle or one that is filled with vices. If you can, why not turn things around and advice them to make the same changes you are having. A healthy lifestyle is indeed a longer lifespan of quality.
