The professionals that you are going to need include a photographer, possibly a videographer, a florist, and a caterer. All of them will need to know the date so they can properly plan their schedules.
As you begin to choose the particular professionals for each category, watch your pocketbook and try not to spend more than the amount that you have budgeted. Weddings are notorious for going overboard on cost overruns. Keeping your costs in check will help to ensure that you don't start off your marriage in a deficit situation.
And, finally, something that is of extreme importance to all wedding couples is the matter of securing a suitable reception hall and wedding venue. Some of the most popular places will be booked months or even years in advance. If you want a quick wedding, these will quickly rule themselves out.
