subject: Infertility Statistics - Knowing The Trends [print this page] Many want kids, but not necessarily their ownMany want kids, but not necessarily their own. This runs true these days - especially as teenage pregnancy being very much prevalent in many societies, be it the poorer ones or the wealthier ones. But while half of the world is worrying about over population, there are those who are praying for miracle.
Wanted: Babies. If only it is that easy as having a stork deliver your own baby when the morning comes. It is now safe to say that the people are worrying about this are rather the older group age, especially those who are the late 20's, early 30's and beyond. Well, society can be that harsh. When you are younger and already having a baby, it is frowned upon. But if you are married for even just a year or two, and still not having baby, they are equally frowned upon.
What is it about infertility statistics? What is this fecundity impairment? It is said that these affect about one in six couples. Yes, that big a number.
What is it? Infertility statistics is basically defined as the number of those who have problems, more specifically, who are unable to conceive, as well as bear children, qualified within the bounds of a year of unprotected marital intercourse. Well, consider that marital or non-marital sex.
So what is it about numbers? Are these drafted studies really significant? Well, statistics ain't statistics for nothing. What does it tell you if you belong to a country that is among the top in the infertility rank? Making it more personal, what are the chances that you are, or you will be in this count?
This infertility statistics has been able to project the cause of fecundity impairment. That 6% of males within the age of 15 to 50 struggle with infertility, while 7.4% of married women within the ages 15 to 44 years suffer from it.
And going back to the cause, what are they? Well, for starters there are about a number of them. The components of a good union is a healthy sperm and a healthy egg to grow in a healthy environment. If you place it in analogy to plants, it takes a good seed in a good soil for a seed to grow into a plant.
But that is easier said than what is there to the world today. Out comes stresses, metabolic imbalances, age factors, exposure to intoxicating chemicals as drugs, which prove to exert impairments and deficiencies affecting fertility negatively.
Many want babies, but not necessarily their own. But as legacy is legacy, most would still want their own blood continue on their race, and their name.
And what does knowing the trend signify? Simply that if you aren't among the statistics, then it's best if you don't join the numbers. And if you already are, then possible remedies are to be sought - if that dramatic a number, most definitely by the respective country's government.
