Vacation in the Philippines is something nobody will never forget. This tropical island is composed of 7,107 islands at the western side of the Pacific Ocean. This tropical island is separated into three groups: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and further subdivided into 17 regions and 80 provinces. The country has a total of 120 metropolis, 1511 urban areas, and 42,008 barangays. It also acquired islands from Sabah or North Borneo.

Manila in Luzon is considered as the country's capital city. It is also the second largest city after Quezon City. Some of the mountainous islands are covered in tropical woodland while some have volcanic origins. The country is also rich with active volcanoes and found in different parts of the country and these include Mount Mayon or Mayon Volcano, Mount Pinatubo, and Taal Volcano.

Other things that made the country famous or known to the world are the Cagayan River, the longest river in Luzon and the Manila Bay, which is connected to Laguna de Bay through the Pasig River. It has the Subic Bay, the Davao Gulf and the Moro Gulf. The beautifully built San Juanico Bridge links the islands of Samar and Leyte spanning the San Juanico Strait. The country has its riches on natural resources, minerals, and fertile lands. It also has different vegetation and brute.
