Wedding entertainment is a great way to celebrate holy union with friends, family and guests. It creates a perfect ambience for your party or wedding and sets the mood or tone for the day. This creates a stimulating and visual source of enjoyment for each guest. It encourages even those who don't love dancing to enjoy a great moment. Entertainment offers something for everyone through its mild wedding theme music and ceremonial dance steps .

In spite of this apparent level of disrespect towards the wedding dj, it is normally the disc jockey who furnishes that service which is the most meaningful contributor to the overall success of the reception. Unfortunately, it is the mobile dj industry itself which has largely made this negative impression on the general public. For example, one can break into the business with a small, capital investment for purchasing inferior equipment, cheaply advertising on the internet, and downloading free music. Furthermore, when the dj can offer a very inexpensive rate for a 4 hour reception, most wedding clients jump at the opportunity to save a few bucks. However, in this instance, the old adage of 'you get what you pay for' usually applies .

A rule of the thumb is the size of your gathering. As the size increases so does the number of musicians required. Its simple physics because as the size of gathering increases, so will the size of the venue and hence you need more to catch the attention of your guests. For a small gathering of around 50 guests, 2 musicians would be enough. A trio with decent amplification will be OK for about 100 guests. But for anything over 100 it's best to go for a band of around 4 musicians with a good quality PA system. Lighting for the stage and the dance floor must be equally matched.

You will need to discuss with the band or DJ on the music to be played. In fact, this will mainly depend on your wedding theme. If you are going to have a beach wedding, playing some Filipino music will be excellent. Playing pop songs in the reception can also be a good idea if you do not want the wedding to be too formal. Of course you should choose the music based on your preference. There is nothing wrong to choose to play your favorite music during the reception!

You may even put your best foot forward by singing at your own wedding. Both the bride and groom may select a song to sing to each other or even do a duet. This would be great entertainment for your guests, which they will remember for years to come. And what's better - it's your day so it's highly unlikely that anyone will laugh out loud at your singing abilities. Knock two items off your wedding checklist and save a few dollars by combining wedding entertainment with favors. A photo booth with funny props like hats and stick-on mustaches allows guests to goof around and gives them a fun token of your special day.
